Day 1: Arrival

Arrival and Transfer to Hotel.

Day 2: Armenia - City tour

During Yerevan city tour you will see all the major sights of the capital, including the Republic Square, the Opera house, the Cascade where you will see the statue of the world-famous sculptor Fernando Botero �The Black Cat�. We will also drive via Baghramyan Avenue, where you will see the Parliament, the Palace of President, and the National Academy of Sciences, Tsitsernakaberd - Genocide memorial for the victims 1915 Genocide of Armenians. The excursion also includes a stop in the Victory Park, at Mother Armenia monument, from where you will behold a panoramic view of the city and Visit the History Museum of Armenia. The final stop will be at the Food Market with its variety of fresh and dried fruits, Visit Yerevan Brandy Factory. Overnight in Yerevan

Day 3: Armenia - Tsaghkadzor-Dilijan - Alaverdi (210 km)

Our next destination today is Lake Sevan - "the pearl of Armenia". This fresh-water lake of volcanic origin is situated at an altitude of about 6,500 ft and is one of the biggest high altitude lakes in the world. Here we will visit Sevan Monastery overlooking the lake and at the same time observe the water change its colors surrounded with snow-capped mountains. And will continue to Tsaghkadzor - is a spa town and a popular health resort in Armenia, located north of the capital Yerevan in the Kotayk Province. We will also visit The Ropeway of Tsaghkadzor wich is situated on the top of Mount Teghenis

Day 4: Lory - Sadakhlo - Tbilisi (200 km.)

After breakfast, visit Haghpat monastery, (UNESCO World Heritage Sites). The breathtaking location on either side of the canyon and fantastic scenery makes the visit to these sites a truly unforgettable experience! drive to Armenian-Georgian border - Sadakhlo. After all the formalities enter Georgia. Drive to Tbilisi - the capital of Georgia.

Tbilisi city tour: A few unforgettable hours of familiarization with the capital. A charming town built in the 5th century along the twisting valley of Mtkvari River. All the places of interest are very close to each other, within a few minutes� walk. Start our excursion Metekhi (13th century) plateau, before taking the cable car to Narikala Fortress which dominates the skyline of the Old Town. Proceed to explore brick-domed underground sulfur baths (17th century) - the district of naturally hot mineral waters and discover the hidden waterfall. Afterwards proceed to cafe street Shardeni and walk across the Bridge of Peace which is a stunning design as well as convenient crossing between the newly constructed Rike Park and the Old Town. It also provides superb views over the city. In the evening hotel accommodation and overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 5: Tbilisi - Gori - Uplistsikhe - Mtskheta - Tbilisi (240 km.)

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed along the Silk Road and arrive in Gori - the birthplace of the Soviet leader Stalin. Photo-stop at the museum of Stalin and proceed to the cave town Uplistsikhe (1st millennium BC) - one of the first cities in Georgia carved into the rock. The caves were the site of pagan rituals, before Georgia became a Christian country. After inspecting the cave city, head to Mtskheta - an ancient capital of Georgia, important religious centre and city-museum which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Along the way we will stop on the top of the mountain, at the confluence of two rivers - Mtkvari and Aragvi. Arrive in Mtskheta. Walk along the narrow streets with souvenir shopping possibility and visit its important sites. In the evening drive back to Tbilisi. Hotel accommodation and overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 6: Tbilisi - Ananuri - Gudauri - Tbilisi (240 km.)

After breakfast at the hotel start very scenic drive up through the High Caucasus Mountains along the Georgian Military Highway, which is the major route linking Georgia with Russia. On the way visit Ananuri Fortress overlooking a reservoir on the Aragvi River. Arrive in Gudauri located in the very heart of the Caucasus Mountains, surrounded by some of Europe's highest peaks, at an altitude of 2 200 meter above sea level and enjoy free time for skiing. Being located on the southern slope of the Caucasus, you can enjoy the sunshine all day long. In the evening return to Tbilisi. Hotel accommodation and overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 7 : Day 6: Tbilisi free day

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy free day in Tbilisi and explore the capital city on your own. Hotel accommodation in Tbilisi.

Day 8: Tbilisi free day

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy free day in Tbilisi and explore the capital city on your own. Hotel accommodation in Tbilisi.

Day 9: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Tbilisi International Airport and departure.


Please note the following useful data:

  • Hat, warm coats and jacket, sunglasses, comfortable shoes for some sightseeing points;

  • The ladies will need the headscarf while entering the Georgian Orthodox Churches;
  • In some churches, the ladies will need the skirt. However, you can find them at the entrance of the church;
